Gori Marble & Granite is a locally owned and operated stonemasonry business serving Cairns, Tablelands, and surrounding areas in Queensland.
Gori Marble and Granite was established in 1965 by Alfredo and Cynthia Gori, trading as Gori Terrazzo Tiles. Alf started the business supplying and installing terrazzo in Far North Queensland.
In the early 1980s, the family business moved away from the terrazzo into granite and marble products. The company began specialising in monumental work, furniture and benchtops

Since Alf & Cynthia’s passing in 2016, their daughter Velina has continued to run the family business along with her husband Bradley Veivers, a qualified stonemason with more than 25 years of industry experience.
They are joined by Cameron Anderson, Alf & Cynthia’s grandson. He is also a qualified stonemason with a wealth of knowledge, learned from a very young age from his mother Marisa (nee Gori), also a stonemason.
